RAFFLE PRIZE:
Two (2) winners will be selected. Each winner will receive both a pair of game-worn cleats and football gloves signed by Will. They will come with a letter of authenticity. The gloves and cleats were worn during the 2012 season. A great piece of memorabilia for any Steelers or Buckeyes fan!
ABOUT THE RAFFLE:
Will Allen just completed his 9th NFL season and his 3rd with the Steelers. Will played in all 16 games with 7 starts at safety during the 2012 season for Pittsburgh, during which he registered 34 tackles, 8 passes defended, a forced fumble, and helped the team to be the NFL’s #1 pass defense. An All-American during his senior season in 2003 at Ohio State, Will helped the Buckeyes to the national championship with their upset win over Miami and sealed their trip to the Fiesta Bowl and a chance to play for the BCS National Championship when he intercepted Michigan’s John Navarre pass during the closing seconds of a 14-9 victory capping the Buckeyes undefeated regular season.
Proceeds from this raffle will benefit the Will Allen Foundation, whose programs are having a measureable and important impact for the students involved. Quest for Real Life Success, launched in 2006, is the core of the Will Allen Foundation and is currently carrying on its second year of the program at: Wayne High School (Will's alma mater) in Huber Heights, Ohio and North Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA. The program objectives include preparing students academically for college and job/career opportunities, while helping the students develop character and integrity.
